Chanukah is the Festival of Light. It's also eight crazy nights! Chabad wants to make sure that every Jewish student has the ability to celebrate this incredible Holiday. Every night of Chanukah students have the option of lighting a menorah together with Rabbi Shlomo and Nechama at Chabad.

Then there are the crazy parties! This year Chabad held the first Jewish Hip Hop concert at Vanderbilt. Nosson Zand came to town and put on an amazing show, close to 100 students came, there was a giant Menorah lighting outside and students got to light their own also.

There was a Chanukah and s'mores party at Chabad, a Chanukah Dinner class to discuss the story and relevance to our lives, and an 8th night party. New for this year was Chabads late night Chanukah bash held twice at the Commons center and once at Branscomb.

Students helped Rabbi Shlomo set up the giant Menorah, fry hundreds of latkes and help other students light Menorah in the designated area. It was a huge success with hundreds celebrating Chanukah tat otherwise night not have.
